Baju Melayu is one of the clothes worn by the Malay men. Similar to the Baju Kurung and the Kebaya, it is still worn by men especially on Fridays ,for the Fridays prayers. It is also worn for wedding ceremonies and other special occasions. During the olden days, the Baju Melayu consist of only one color but now, Baju Melayu have lots of interesting designs. Some of them have batik designs . It is worn with a songkok, samping, or tengkolok. Some even try to match the color of the Baju Melayu to the color of the songkok and samping . The Baju Melayu can also be worn with kain pelikat. Being a favorite tailor of Malay community in Singapore, we can tailor any kind of Baju Melayu dress.
